The Story
This 1960s Chronographe Suisse Delrio manual chronograph features an 18k rose gold case measuring 39mm in diameter with a matching rose gold dial. The antimagnetic 17-jewel movement powers the chronograph function, which allows timing of events through pushers on the case sides while the antimagnetic properties protect the movement from magnetic interference.
Rose gold provides a warmer, more subtle tone than yellow gold, creating a cohesive appearance when case and dial share the same metal color. The 39mm case diameter offers substantial wrist presence appropriate for a men's chronograph while remaining within vintage proportions that wear comfortably. A new brown leather strap complements the rose gold tones and provides fresh wearing condition.
Manual-wind movements require daily winding to maintain power, connecting the wearer to the mechanical operation of the watch. This timepiece was serviced in 2025, meaning the movement has been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and regulated for optimal performance and longevity.
