Antique Edwardian Brooch w/ Sapphire Diamonds.  This antique brooch features .32 carats of diamonds and .32 carats of sapphires and is finished in 14 karat yellow gold and platinum. The ornamental wire lattice done in the front facing platinum is a staple of Edwardian jewelry. In this brooch the reverse side and the pin are 14 karat yellow gold, which due to the open spaces among the filigree work creates a warm glow coming naturally from behind the gemstones. The sapphires in this piece are a very lovely cornflower blue that really complete the light and airy look.
