Antique Engagement Ring Victorian 2.12 Oval Cut Sapphire in 14K Yellow Gold

This stunning original antique Victorian engagement ring features a 2.12 carat oval cut sapphire.  The center stone is the sole centerpiece here.  The sapphire has a beautiful distribution of color and is full of life and luster.  The stone is held in place by four corner prongs and the basket features open detail work.  The thing band tapers from the top and thickens a bit at the bottom.  All in all, this original antique engagement ring is as stunning today as it was when it was made over 130 years ago!
