Diamond Ruby Halo Engagement Ring in Platinum.  This modern engagement ring features materials reclaimed from vintage pieces.  The center stone is a .19 carat old mine cushion cut diamond that was likely cut in the late 1800s.  The diamond has gorgeous chunky facets, giving the light refraction a glittering look.  The center stone is surrounded by a halo of pink French cut rubies.  The rubies provide a beautiful contrast of color and lend to the geometric shape of the ring.  Additional diamonds are set into the shoulder of the ring and taper down into a thin platinum band.
