This pin was made in the Henry George Murphy Falcon studio that was founded in 1928. This 14k yellow gold piece has a starburst of metal that looks like abstract flower petals. The gemstones in the center of the pin are the most valuable variety of citrine known as Madeira citrine. Henry George Murphys work has become highly collectible, especially since a retrospective of his work took place in London in 2005.
